Residency Dates:

Two weeks in April-May of 2023 in New York City.

Six weeks in Yerevan in May-June. Exact dates TBD.
Residency Requirements:

Artists are asked to donate one piece to AHCP created previously or during their stay in New York, to help defray the costs of future residencies.

Once they return to Armenia, artists will be expected to present their work and/or impressions from the New York trip to the public at an event organized by the Johannissyan Institute.
What to Submit:

A portfolio of your most recent and representative work or a website link;

An Artist Statement;

A Biography or CV;

A short, one-page cover letter explaining what the applicant would like to accomplish during this residency.
Selection Process:

An international committee of art historians, curators, artists, and other cultural professionals will select one artist per residency cycle.

The selected artist for the Spring 2023 residency will be notified by December 20, 2022.
