Make a difference

The AHCP Annual Artist Residency provides students and recent graduates of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia with a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in the New York art scene. During a two-week residency in New York City, participants engage with artists, institutions, and cultural networks that are otherwise inaccessible, expanding their professional horizons at a critical stage in their careers.

Upon returning to Armenia, residents receive studio access at the Academy to develop new work and continue projects initiated during the residency, strengthening the long-term impact of the experience through collaboration with both the Academy and AHCP.

This residency is unprecedented in its scope and commitment to emerging Armenian artists. All major expenses—including round-trip airfare, housing, and a weekly stipend for food, transportation, and museum visits—are fully covered through the generosity of our supporters.
