Gallery Intern

Atamian Hovsepian Curatorial Practice seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Gallery Intern to join the team. As a Gallery Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations and contributing to the success of our exhibitions and events. This position offers an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the art industry and collaborate with passionate professionals.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Help maintain the gallery's inventory and client database.

• Conduct in-depth research on artists, to identify potential collaborations and exhibition opportunities.

• Assist in managing and curating our social media platforms to showcase our exhibitions, events, and artists effectively.

• Collaborate with the gallery team to draft compelling press releases, newsletters, and email campaigns to announce exhibitions and upcoming events.

• Support the planning and execution of gallery events, such as exhibition openings, artist talks, and workshops.

• Greet visitors and provide them with an excellent gallery experience by offering information about current exhibitions and answering inquiries.

• Contribute to the overall upkeep and appearance of the gallery space, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

 

Gallery Hours: Wednesday - Saturday 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM and occasional evenings.
